About Laura

Laura grew up in Los Angeles, where they enjoy crocheting, exploring the city, and swimming in the lake and ocean. Outside the lab, they embrace trying new activities and experiencing the vibrant urban environment.

Their scientific interests include pharmaceutical development, motivated by a desire to tackle complex challenges and contribute to advancing medical solutions.

Laura's Research

Laura is researching trained immunity, focusing on how the immune system develops memory-like responses after certain stimuli. Their work aims to improve immune responses for disease prevention, with potential applications in vaccine and therapy development.
